Great tips to help potty train puppy. Crate training your puppy can help to speed up the potty training process, simply because dog’s don’t like to soil their beds. Young pups have small bladders and need to be taken out often. Keep the potty training experience a positive one for best results. Negative experiences tend to be harder to break.
Here’s how to potty train puppy….
1. A routine needs to be put in place. Your puppy needs to have a bedtime and wake time, both times she needs to be give the opportunity to potty.
2.Your puppy needs to have a regular feeding schedule. Most puppies eat 3-4 times a day. Try to keep to the same time, and remember to take her out after meals.

When you take your puppy outside, always use a leash. take her to the same spot and let her sniff around for her “special spot”. Once she starts to go, calmly praise her, when she is finished praise her more enthusiastically, saying something like “good potty” just be sure you use the same word every time. Let your puppy know she did a good job.
If your puppy has an accident and you don’t catch her, just clean it up, you made a mistake by not watching puppy close enough. Don’t let her have free rein of the house. Firmly say “no” and pick her up midstream and take her outside to the designated area. Then praise her once she has finished her job.
