Large KONG Ball

The Large KONG Ball is the best bouncing and most durable ball on the market.

When we brought our two labs home we bought all sorts of balls to play fetch with. Tennis balls got one use before they were destroyed. Brandon He would literally crush them in his mouth and rip them apart. Bailey would eat the skin off the tennis balls. We’ve had this Kong ball for over a year. These Kong toys are the best investment we’ve made on a dog toy. Our dogs loves this ball. We play fetch with it, Bailey chews on it around the house, and Brandon even sleeps next to it at night. It still looks brand new…no signs of wear at all.

Extra Large Dental Kong

Dental health is just as important for pets as it is for people, but it’s a rare dog that likes getting his teeth brushed. This fun, versatile chew combines the functions of a treat dispenser, toothbrush, and classic fetch toy, all in one. Made from the same super-tough, puncture-resistant natural rubber as classic Kongs, its patented grooved design “squeegees” teeth and gums clean as dogs chew, helping prevent plaque and tartar buildup (not to mention bad breath).

Bailey chews through everything in minutes or hours. Both of our labs are heavy chewers and play tug-of-war with most of their toys. KONG toys are the only ones they can’t destroy. I bought this one to have as an alternative to the other KONG toys we have. Playing fetch is great fun with this one too. This WILL last for your dogs.

Large KONG Bounzer Ball

This is the “ball” to buy for the fetch junkie with jaws of steel. Made from Kong’s unique formulation of solid, puncture-resistant natural rubber, it won’t pop, no matter how enthusiastic the game (or the player). Best of all, this uniquely shaped toy features an unbelievable, well-nigh irresistible bounce for epic games of chase and fetch, drop and pounce, and anything else your dog can think up.

I have wasted a lot of money on dog toys. This ball along with the round ball are Brandon’s favorite toys. We will soon order another one because our Brandon loves this ball so much and leaves it all over the place. It gets lost at least once a week!

Classic KONG

This funny-shaped rubber chew packs a huge play value into a compact package. Legendary among dog lovers for their strength and durability, Kong toys are the answer to a busy pet owner’s prayers. Dogs were made to hunt, chase, and gnaw, and denied a way to satisfy these natural urges, they can turn into barkers, diggers, problem chewers, or worse. Recommended by vets and trainers for dogs with separation anxiety, the Kong has a hollow interior that’s ideal for stuffing with treats. Use peanut butter or soft cheese like glue to keep biscuits inside, and extracting the contents becomes a “hunt” to keep any pooch happy and busy all workday long. Dogs love the toys’ goofy, unpredictable bounce and can chase, fetch, and play for hours. Chewing Kongs even helps promote strong jaws, clean teeth, and general oral health.

This Kong is terrific. We put a bit of peanut butter and kibble inside and the boys are happy for a long time. Brandon loves the way it bounces in a haphazard way and we enjoy watching him play with it! Bailey loves that it often has tasty treats in it. The Kong is worth ever penny plus it appears to be virtually indestructible. We’re both happy!!!!

Innotek ZND-1000 Extra Indoor Pet-Containment Zone

We purchased the disc as an add-on to the Innotek invisible fence system. One dog learned to open the cabinets in the kitchen so we needed a solution. The shock is mild but definitely uncomfortable (I tested it on me before I used it on the dogs).

While it took some time to get our 2 dogs conditioned to the underground fence and the remote trainer, the disc worked intermediately. We’ve had one disc for a couple years and plan to order another disk to keep one dog out of the rabbit cage. He can’t tell the difference between dog food and rabbit droppings.

Innotek ULTRASMART IN GROUND PET FENCING

Product Description

Keep the family dog safe in the yard with this in-ground pet fencing system. Once installed, the system provides an effective way to keep the dog not only in the yard, but also clear of out-of-bounds areas such as flowerbeds, gardens, decorative shrubbery, and pools. When the dog approaches the buried wire, a radio signal tells the dog’s collar to administer a brief, harmless stimulation that he’ll quickly learn to avoid. Even more, patented run-through prevention offers secure, reliable containment.

The rechargeable collar receiver comes with a comfortable strap that fits neck sizes 8 to 24 inches. For convenience, the system’s exclusive ReadyTest produces a brief, pleasant clicking to indicate the perfect collar fit, plus it shows the system status and battery status. The unit’s indoor wall-mounted transmitter provides added peace of mind with an audible and visual wire-break alarm, as well as built-in 24/7 battery backup in the event of power failure. The kit includes 500 feet of single-conductor ground wire to enclose up to 1/3 acre (expandable to 25 acres with additional wire kits), two-hour quick-charging lithium ion batteries, boundary wire, and training flags, as well as a training support 800 number, complete installation instructions, and a DVD. The 4-ounce receiver measures 2-3/4 by 3/4 by 1-1/4 inches, and the system carries a limited lifetime warranty.

Innotek recommends dogs be at least six months old before starting a remote training program. For the safety of the dog, a long lead should be used during initial training to ensure control of the situation. If the dog shows signs of growling, snarling, or biting while using the collar, stop immediately and consult a professional dog trainer or animal behaviorist.

New INNOTEK UltraSmart in-ground pet fencing systems set a new standard. The difference is in the sleek, streamlined comfortable collar – 30% smaller and lighter than other containment receivers.

We chose the Ultrasmart system because it is the smallest collar on the market that is rechargeable. And the charge lasts for weeks!

Installation was easy. The wire only needs to be burried between 1 and 3 inches. I did this completely by and with a spade. I don’t recommend this approach, but you can do it. It took me two evenings after work. I simply ran the spade into the ground a few inches and wiggled it. I moved along and had a little crevice to put the wire in. If you need to run a lot of wire get a gas powered edger. Use a wooden paint stick, to bury the wire. Also, use a power drill to twist the wire for those areas where you want the signal to be canceled so the dogs can run through. Don’t get me wrong, this installation is work. The video and instructions are helpful.

Training takes time, but it is not hard. You have a dog to spend time with it anyway, so make the training fun and enjoy the time with your dog. If you watch the video and follow the instructions this works great. Be consistient and don’t skip any days. Your dog will learn quickly and may need a reminder every once in a while. But after the few weeks of training your dog will be fine in the yard. With a little continued follow-up your dog will be fine for extended periods of time too.
